Area Rugs When To Consider Buying Custom Area Rugs
Most times finding an area rug is no problem. A little bit of
shopping and you normally find just what you are looking for.
However sometimes things don't go as planned and you become very
frustrated at not finding what you need. So when should you consider
buying custom area rugs?
1. Size
Sometimes you will require an area rug that is not a size that
is readily available. Some houses have odd shaped rooms that
are just impossible to find an area rug off the shelf. If this
is the case you might want to consider choosing custom area
rugs so you get the size you need. A custom size might cost
a little more but it will be a perfect fit.
2. Color
If you are trying to match your home decor and your colors are
not traditional colors you might have a tough time getting a
match that works or compliments your decor. This might be a
perfect time to order a custom area rug. New color matching
machines can easily get you an exact color match or a complimentary
color match. You can choose shades that are lighter and darker
depending on what you are trying to achieve. Your room will
look awesome with a perfect color match!
3. Pattern
With so many patterns available in area rugs it's hard to imagine
you couldn't find one you like. But if you have a certain decor
lets say Navajo or perhaps Victorian then you might have trouble
finding a rug that will fit your decor. This is a good time
to consider a custom area rug. You will be able to provide the
exact pattern or design you want on the rug and it will look
splendid in your room. You will also be able to choose colors
and size of course. Why settle for something that sort of works
when for just a little more money you can have exactly what
you want.
4. Texture
Found the perfect color but can't find it in the right texture.
No problem. That's an easier custom job than you might think.
After all they already have the dye color in their standard
off the roll products so now they just need to apply it to the
appropriate texture carpet you are looking for. The only problem
you might run into is that the dye is not compatible with the
fabric of the texture you are looking at.
5. Fabric
Did you find the perfect carpet but it's only available in a
synthetic and due to allergies you need it in a Berber or wool
carpet. No problem. A custom rug can be built using the carpet
you found that you like but out of a natural material of your
choice.
6. Shape
Looking for an unusual shape. Need a triangle and all you can
buy is an octagon. A custom rug can be cut to any shape you
need and they can make sure patterns and designs match up correctly.
Custom rugs give you choices that simply are not available off
the roll. That said if you are in the market for custom rugs or
carpet realize that they are going to cost more than off the roll.
How much more will depend a great deal on what your custom requirements
are. However if you just have to have that perfect rug there is
no better option than custom rugs. Why settle for anything less
when you can have exactly what you want!
